Lawayne Perryman and his wife, Sherry, are active members of their community and the church. Lawayne serves as an Elder at Happy Hill Church, where he leads in hospitality and fellowship. He has been a part of Happy Hill Church since he was one year old and became a member at age seven after accepting Jesus Christ as his Savior during church camp. As a young man, he led the youth group at Happy Hill for nearly 20 years, helping many young students embrace Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Lawayne enjoys participating in VBS skits and singing alongside Sherry.

Lawayne and Sherry have been married for 22 years and have four children: Josiah, Jonathon and his wife, Reagan, Micah, and Abigal. The family loves spending time outdoors, engaging in activities such as sports, hunting, fishing, and farming, with wrestling being their most time-consuming pursuit.

In addition to his church involvement, Lawayne has worked in the HVAC industry for 24 years. He takes pleasure in helping friends and neighbors with any problems they encounter.

Lawayne lives by his favorite verse: 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
